Guides and explainers on filing, registration and tax rules in Pakistan — written to be read once and acted on, rather than skimmed.
These are the pieces that do not go out of date the week after publication. Where the news section covers what changed and when, this is the standing explanation underneath it: what a filer actually is, how registration differs from filing, what goes in a wealth statement, what happens after you press submit, and what any of it costs you.
They are written for people who have to deal with the tax system rather than for people who work in it, so they assume no background and spell out the things practitioners take for granted. Where a rule is genuinely unsettled, or where the sources disagree with each other, the article says so instead of picking one quietly.
Every article carries the date its figures were last checked and the sources they came from. Rates move, sometimes mid-year — if you are relying on a number for a decision, check the date on it, and check the calculators for your own figures.
